Overview

Develop the skills and knowledge required to collect shellfish samples for monitoring programs and food safety management. 
 
This online course covers sampling techniques, sample handling and transport, quality assurance requirements and the role of monitoring in protecting public health and market access. Participants will gain an understanding of best-practice sampling procedures and the responsibilities of approved shellfish samplers.
