A shipwright builds and repairs all types of marine craft and vessels using materials including timber, fibre reinforced plastics and metal, they install drive systems and fit or repair internal and external components on vessels.

MEM30719- Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction (Trade)

A trade qualification as a shipwright or boat builder is typically required. Experience in constructing and repairing boats or marine structures is necessary.
