A trade qualification as a refrigeration mechanic is typically required. Experience in refrigeration systems, especially in an aquaculture or seafood processing context, is advantageous.

Ability to use tools and equipment to diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration systems, single phase and three phase motor repairs.
