UEE33020 Certificate III in Electrical Fitting or UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Trade). These qualifications completed as an apprenticeship fulfil the requirement for an Electrical Occupational Licence. Trade qualifications and experience are required for this role. A trade qualification as an electrician is typically required. Experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting is important.

Workplace Health and Safety Act and relevant codes of practice. Ability to use tools and equipment to diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and their components.
