Diploma of Retail Merchandise Management

Bait Collector
A fishing bait collector works for a company or runs their own business with a license or permit to supply certain types of fresh or frozen bait for bait and tackle suppliers and direct to fishermen.
Store Manager
The store manager of a bait and tackle or fishing and camping store is responsible for managing staff and achieving sales targets, they implement and review marketing and business strategies for the ongoing success of the business.
Diploma of Retail Leadership
A qualification suitable for business owners, managers providing support to senior managers and those providing leadership to retail teams. You will learn:

Certificate III in Retail
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have the primary responsibility of engaging customers and maintaining daily store operations.
Retail Assistant
A Retail Assistant works on the front line of customer interaction, service and point of sale of a bait and tackle or fishing and camping business, they use their outdoor recreation and fishing knowledge to assist customers with their questions and purchases.
Importer
An importer working for the bait and tackle industry brings products and goods into Australia from overseas with the intention to sell them, they ensure that the goods are accurately classified and valued, the customs duties and taxes are paid and import documentation is recorded and managed.
Sales Representative
A sales representative working for the bait and tackle industry works for a wholesale company that supplies goods to retail fishing and camping stores, they build and maintain business relationships with store managers, pitch new products, negotiate sales and ensure that ordered products are delivered.
